Formula Fast Lap Record Broken Again by Nathan Turner
Formula Fast’s lap record has been broken once again, with Nathan Turner setting a new fastest time of 29:956 during an Unlimited Karting members session last night.
The new record beats Turner’s own previous benchmark of 29:972, set in Formula Fast’s brand new Sodi SR5 karts which landed earlier in 2026.
| A strong year of progress
This is not a one-off achievement for Turner, who in addition to being consistently quick at Formula Fast, has been expanding his racing CV over the last few months.
Alongside racing with us, Nathan has also been competing at Daytona and Silverstone, gaining experience across different circuits and formats. He was also invited to BRKC 2026 – the latest edition of the world-famous British Rental Kart Championship – off the back of his performances at Formula Fast across the year.
That is a proper achievement, and a great example of how regular competitive karting can help aspiring racers to sharpen their skills in the sport.

| Unlimited Karting at Formula Fast
The record was set during one of Formula Fast’s Unlimited Karting sessions, a members-only format designed for drivers who want more track time, more laps and a chance to keep improving.
Unlike a standard Adult Timed Practice session, Unlimited Karting is restricted to members, giving drivers the opportunity to push for cleaner, faster laps in a session designed specifically for advanced drivers and enthusiasts.
For drivers chasing their personal best, race prep or simply as much time behind the wheel as possible, it has become one of the best ways to develop at Formula Fast.
