New Indoor clay shooting experience takes aim at group nights out in Milton Keynes

The team behind some of Milton Keynes’ top-rated experiences at Formula Fast have officially launched The Clay Lounge, bringing a new kind of night out to the city with immersive indoor clay shooting, private lounge hire, food, drinks and head-to-head competition.
Aimed at team socials, birthdays, stag and hen groups, date nights and get-togethers, The Clay Lounge takes the thrill of clay shooting and gives it a more stylish, social twist, swapping the countryside setting for a private lounge, interactive gameplay, and an exclusive vibe.
With real-feel shotguns, high-speed projection and digital scoring in a dedicated private space for groups of two to 12 people, The Clay Lounge is Milton Keynes’ first immersive indoor clay shooting experience. Guests can choose from a range of food & drink packages to enjoy alongside the gameplay, or order directly to the room.
The launch adds another activity to the independent Milton Keynes venue’s growing line-up for premium group nights out, celebrations and corporate socials, alongside karting, axe throwing and escape rooms, all under one roof. Formula Fast has previously won several awards for its experiences including ‘Best Attraction’ in the Milton Keynes Food & Leisure Awards.
“The Clay Lounge is for groups who want something with a bit more edge than the usual day or night out. It’s competitive but easy to get into, whether you’re planning a birthday, a work social, a date or just an excuse to get everyone together,” said Formula Fast owner Phil Stanley.
“You’ve got the buzz of the game, your own private space, food and drinks on hand, and an atmosphere that feels a world away from anything people expect when they hear ‘clay shooting’.”
For adults, The Clay Lounge and Cipher Escape also give guests the option to enjoy alcoholic drinks during the experience, alongside Formula Fast’s expanded ‘gourmet street food’ menu, led by its signature Italian ‘pinsa’ flatbread pizzas.
Guests can currently choose from three Clay Lounge packages: Clays Essential from £25 per person, Clays Plus from £35 per person, and Clays Signature from £45 per person, which includes bottomless pizza and drinks during the session.
A typical ‘Clays’ session lasts for approximately one hour, with several game types to choose from, and guests can also add other activities to create a longer multi-activity event.
Phil Stanley added:

The Clay Lounge gives Milton Keynes something genuinely different – and for us, it’s another big step in building a venue people think of for their best nights out, not just one activity.”
