Our team runs every activity, manages timings, and keeps the energy high – you enjoy the day and take the credit.

Formula Fast Karting, Cipher Escape Rooms, Axecelerate Axe Throwing and The Clay Lounge are all located at the same venue under the ‘Formula Fast’ or ‘Indoor Karting’ signage.

Formula Fast is located just off the A5 at the Bletcham Way junction. We are close to the MK1 complex (MK Stadium, IKEA and Asda Superstore). Sat navs (MK1 1JJ) will usually take you to our entrance, but please look out for our signage.

  • When you are within half a mile of the circuit, follow signs to Mount Farm, then look for Bond Avenue.
  • Bond Avenue spans two sides of a double roundabout. The correct road is signposted ←Indoor Karting.
  • Continue up the hill until you see Bond Estate, near the top of Bond Avenue and on the right.
  • Head into the estate and follow Formula Fast signs into the Main Car Park.

Incredible attention to detail in the design of the room. All WW2 themed with artifacts from the time period. Never felt completely lost and the puzzles made sense and led nicely into each other. There are two rooms the same so big groups can compete against each other to get out first which I haven't seen anywhere else. Very fun and our host Mia was engaging and attentive. Thank you so much!

The karts at this track have some of the best parity ive seen. Adam. Hadda and zain are the friendliest, most helpful members of staff i have seen at any gokart track. I ended up paying for 4 sessions since I enjoyed it so much. Will be back for competitive racing 100%

Went here for a team building event had a great time. Could have easily beat my boss without traffic but can't win them all.

Zain was a great host and I would highly recommend both the venue and Zain for anyone looking to have a great karting experience

Never been before and came for a friend's stag do. Was brilliant day. We done karting and the digital clay shooting - which was actually really good. Go karting track was a good mix of technical corners and a very good long left turn into a straight. (Flat out is a must) All of the staff members were fantastic, made sure we was kitted out correctly. Thanks to Zain, Adam and Katie who looked after us during are time there with karting and shooting. Other who names I didn't get was also great. Will definitely look at coming back again.

Pre-Event

Possibly - but here's why:

  • We don't offer the 'same-old' activities - ours are unique, authentic and seriously fun.
  • We're multi-award winning - all of our activities are top rated in their own respect.
  • You're not here to get lost amongst other groups. Our venue and team are exclusively yours.
  • You need a minimum of 25 guests to get the best value and energy from your takeover.
  • Venue Takeover packages scale seamlessly for groups up to 100 guests.
  • Less people? Also no problem, take a look at our alternative tailored packages for smaller groups.
  • More people? No problem - we have options. We'll discuss how best to accomodate your numbers.

No - the Venue Takeover is an adult-only event. Minimum age is 15yrs+ (18yrs+ for alcohol).

Not much! The only thing we require is for guest to pre-register using the link we'll send you. This allows us to start your event without any delays on arrival.

No — guests can choose what they want to do on the day.

  • We run short 10–15 minute sessions continuously.
  • Nobody’s waiting around, and everyone stays engaged.
  • Escape Rooms do require a little more time - so we normally schedule times for these in advance if required.
  • If we know about them in advance (before the day of your event), the answer is nearly always yes.
  • Guests with dietary requirements will be served separately where possible (prepared on demand).
  • Whilst strict precautions are taken during preparation of your food to avoid cross-contamination, your food will be prepared in an environment where allergens are present. We cannot guarantee any item is 100% free of allergens either at source, or during preparation.

On The Day

  • Guests can park free-of-charge in the Main Car Park next to our venue.
  • Our friendly team will check-in your guests as they arrive, and confirm each guest has registered correctly.
  • After that, they can relax in our lounge until the briefing begins. We'll brief everyone together so that your group understand each activity before the fun begins.
  • We've developed a custom app to show live availability and scoreboards across all activities.
  • These will show the remaining spaces for upcoming sessions, and the time remaining of the current session.
  • If you've booked a Plus or Signature package, we'll usually start serving bottomless drinks and pizza as your activities begin, until near the end of your event.
  • We'll keep serving food hot from the kitchen throughout.
  • Alcohol can be included with a surcharge (over 18 only, ID required) but remember you can't drink if you're taking part in any Go Karting or Axe Throwing afterwards.
  • We'd recommend comfortable clothes and flat-soled shoes (trainers are ideal).
  • You'll need a little room for mobility for most activities, and karting is not possible in a skirt/dress.
  • Open/poorly supported shoes, heels, Crocs, sandals are not permitted.
  • In the winter - dress warmer. In the summer - dress cooler (shorts/leggings are fine).

Not necessarily. For Venue Takeovers, we operate special procedures which allow you to choose not to wear a racesuit when karting.

  • Your clothing must be suitable and checks must be passed.
  • You can still choose to wear a racesuit if you prefer.
  • Helmets, balaclavas and gloves are still mandatory for your safety.

As much - or as little - as you want it to be.

  • We score every activity, so if your guests enjoy a little friendly competition, they'll be able rank themselves against each other. Plus, a podium presentation is included if you want it.
  • Equally, guests who prefer to just relax and enjoy laid-back fun don't have to take things too seriously. They can take part in as many or as few sessions as they like.
