We’ve been busy over the winter season, and whilst you’ve been busy enjoying your Christmas parties at Milton Keynes’ #1 attraction (us, of course!), we’ve engineered a big upgrade for all the race nerds out there.
NEW: Pit and Sector Timing
We’re very excited to be the first indoor go-karting circuit in the UK to offer sector timing.
This means your laptimes can now be broken down into two sectors, allowing you to pinpoint in minute detail exactly where you may be losing (or gaining) those valuable tenths of a second.
This is great news if you’re wondering which corner you might need to improve on. If you’re struggling with consistency, you can see what your ‘potential’ fastest time would be from your best sectors added together.
How do I see this?
You may have already spotted this data on the timing screens, and it will soon be available in more detail on our laptime printouts, online results and mobile displays.
NEW: Driver Dashboards
You’ve seen our TV Timing Towers, but our latest innovation will blow your socks off!
After successful testing in our Members event, we will be introducing on-board Dashboards in 2020 to give you real-time performance data. That means you won’t need to wait until after your session to work out where you can make up time – you’ll be able to do it live on the track!
This is in addition to our huge TV scoreboards on the circuit, so you’ll be able to view your position, gaps, sector times and laptimes right in front of you whilst racing.
How do I see this?
We’re developing a custom display that is mounted to each steering wheel – Members may also use their smartphone and app.
NEW: Driver App
Finally, we’re really pleased to introduce our brand new App, giving you all of your race data (and more) in one place.
Once you’ve raced with us, your app is activited an displays your own race data, achievements, and rankings. You’ll also have access to live timing, driver display (see the ‘Dashboard’ upgrade above) special offers and online booking.
How do I get this?
To download your app, head over to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and search for the ‘Activity Box‘ app. Once downloaded, select ‘Formula Fast’ as the circuit and you’re in! You may be prompted to scan a QR code to access the app – this can be found on your laptime printouts.
