With the release of the new Dawn of Justice movie just around the corner – we thought it would be fun to create something a little different for Formula Fast Fans. We had a few hours free on the Tuesday, so with some £20.00 superhero suits I found on ebay, we dressed up our Track and Fleet Managers in what can only be described as the least convincing costumes ever seen. (Although we all agreed, Superman’s hair was almost a perfect match).Read More›
Authentic, Immersive and Accurate – Using the steering, pedal and gear controls found in a proper racing car, a racing simulator enables you to drive the car of your choice on real-life circuits, replicated in incredible detail, for a fraction of the real cost.
Simulators replicate real-life handling and variables like tyre wear and car setup. You’ll also feel feedback from the controls as you push the car to the limit.
Whereas racing/arcade games often remove ‘real-world’ elements to give you a sense of speed, racing sims aim to be as close as possible to reality – they are purpose-built to be accurate, which doesn’t necessarily mean easy.
This level of detail means that simulators can cost over 100x more than a typical console racing game setup – but with 100% more excitement!

“Vlogging”, or “Video Logging” will be a fun way for you guys to see behind the scenes at Formula Fast, as well as following us on trips to other circuits.
Rather than the short sub-minute videos as before, we will be releasing 5-10 minute episodes. These will be featuring a boat load of interesting and exhilarating content, with the odd contest thrown in for a chance to win some free karting…
So hold on to your helmet, because we’re going to have some fun…

As you can imagine, a Saturday for us at Formula Fast is our busiest day – ranging from junior parties, all the way to big, hairy stag events . It’s all good fun, and I wouldn’t give it up – but with running races and looking after customers all day comes a fair amount of stress…
A few weeks back I decided to purchase what can only be described as toy. At the same time, it’s still 50cc of pure fun. A miniature motorcycle or ‘mini moto’, that cost me £80 from a local mechanic. After some initial running issues – it now provides me a way de-stressing at the end of a day, as well as multiple bruises.Read More›
I get so excited for Christmas… Mainly because the words “Christmas Karting” is a fantastically crisp example of alliteration and I’ll find every excuse to use it in some Xmas based promotion…
But, I also get excited for the decoration of the tree, mince pies, wine, playing ‘The Darkness – Christmas Time’ on loop as loud as possible and of course, wine.Read More›
So… To the amazement to all staff present that day, Bradley Philpot managed to smash the lap record.
Quite honestly we knew he would beat it – but if Usain Bolt ran the 100m a tenth faster tomorrow you would most likely be impressed, shrug it off and continue posing like him on our podium.. But, imagine if he strolled into the stadium, wearing just jeans and loafers, only to smash his own record by 2 seconds. You see my point?Read More›
